ABSTRACT:
Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer among the women aged between 20 and 50 years. This research was conducted to assess the knowledge, attitude and prevalence of risk factors on breast cancer among women (20-50 years) at Our Lady of Health Hospital, Thanjavur district. Descriptive research design was adopted and the sample size was 30. Demographic variables were collected, questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge, 5-point Likert scale was used to assess the attitude and checklist was used to assess the prevalence of risk factors on breast cancer. The results were analyzes using descriptive and inferential statistics.
