ABSTRACT:
Stress is a physical or emotional state of response always present in a personal as a result of living it is intensified in a non specific response to an internal or external environmental change or threat. stress is frequently described as “ the black plaque of the eighties or the modern epidemic has become an important feature and major problem of everyday life threatening individual organization and social health. Numerous studies have indicated that job stress is significant in nursing, it was found that job stress brought about hazardous impacts not only as nurses health but also their abilities to cope with job demands. this will seriously impair the provision of quality care and efficacy of health services delivery further more professional stress has been found to be one of the major work related health problems. Therefore it is important to understand how work associated stress affects nurses and what factors in their working environment cause the greatest burden. it is also of great importance to gain more knowledge of nurses working condition, occupational stress it management, knowledge that might be used to decrease nurses. professional stress and increase their stress managing abilities.
